United by the need to do their laundry, three girls process through their concealed struggles, whether that be loss of a friend, unexpected pregnancy, or a growing eating disorder. Created by 20 year old short and feature filmmaker Emma Rappold, "Spin Cycle" was originally made for a non-dialogue assignment at the University of Texas at Austin, but has since been adapted for festival submission and utilized for a media studies lecture at a local high school.
